Q.  What do I do if the audience wants to see the bag empty in the C&R
Rope trick before I start?

A.  Of course, the easiest way to deal with any audience problem is to
keep it from happening.  First, do not draw attention to the bag.  For
example, do not say, "I have a bag here," before it is time to use the
bag.

Another way to keep the audience from focusing on the bag is to have it
folded flat.  Even when the bag is loaded, if it is folded flat, it will appear
to the casual observer to be empty.

If the audience still wants to see the bag, do not stop the trick.  Just
keep performing and tell them that you will get to that in a minute.  If you
stop the performance and look at the bag, it will look like you are trying
to hide something.  If you continue the trick, it will not look like you are
trying to hide something, rather, it will look like that someone is just
bothering you with a question that has nothing to do with the trick, but
that you will still address the question in a minute.

After you produce the restored rope, you can then show the bag empty
at any time.


Q.  I have made the Sticker Book and the stickers on the last page
show each time I flip through the book, even when I am trying to show
the blank only pages.  How do I fix this?

A.  Make sure that you are using an even number of pages.  Having an
"extra" page with stickers can cause the page to show when it
shouldn't.  The book that I used in the DVD has 16 pages.  The odd
number pages (1,3,5,7,9,11,13, and 15) are blank.  The even number
pages (2,4,6,8,10,12,14,16) have stickers.  Also, if your book has too
few pages it may be hard to operate.  I suggest using at least 1
0 or
more pages.
